Help - Create/Modify a Profile
How do I create a profile?
To use the My Archive facility, you need to register your details with History Study Centre. The username and password you provide are to validate your access to My Archive.
Fill in the form on the Create a profile page (accessed from the Log in page). You can edit any of these details at a later time.
- Type a username (this is a mandatory step).
- Type a password (this is a mandatory step).
- Type your password again for confirmation (this is a mandatory step).
- Type your e-mail address (this is an optional step). This can be either a personal one or one for your institution.
Note: if you choose to provide an e-mail address, you will be able to retrieve a forgotten password. If you choose to not provide an e-mail address and forget your password, you will need to create a new profile.
- Type your full name (this is an optional step).
- Click the Submit button.
You will be directed to the main My Archive page.

How do I modify my profile?
Using the Modify Profile option, you can access your profile to update your details. To change your details, first either:
- Enter your user name and password on the Log In page of My Archive.
- Click Modify Profile
- or
- If you are already logged in to My Archive, click Modify Profile
- Then:
- Edit the form by deleting your present details in the appropriate text box.
- Type your new details into the text box.
- Click the Submit button to register the change with us.
